ORAL PRESENTATIONS. 

 

This is one of the assignment given to the us to improve their speech and presentation skills at university level. It also improves our way of speaking to the audience and to avoid stammering while speaking. There are notes prepared regarding on how to do a presentation or to give a speech for the students to read through and learn step-by-step. It is a 2-3 minutes oral presentation. There are various choices of topics for the students to select. Other than that, another oral presentation was given using video format where students are to present their topic through video presentation. We are going to divide ourselves into groups and in each group, they are only allowed to pick one or two places related to modern architecture designs inspired by nature. Our presentation should include the following areas.

 

• Biomimicry

• Design principles and architect’s background

• Materials used

• Green features

So, we chose the Gherkin which located at London , United Kingdom as our topic in this assignment.
