Assignment 1 – Essay Writing

I will be required to write a coherent university – style compare-contrast essay by choosing between two different genres of films, which will be provided to me at a later date.

Action & Adventure films
Sci - Fi film

The essay should cover between 800 – 1000 words. The purpose of this essay is to allow me to

effectively note the similarities and differences between these genres of film, and how it can be explored where language is concerned.

As I am not familiar with science fiction, I chose the genre Action and Advanture films.

Action movies, as indicated in the name is filled with action, spectacle, and fervent. our eyes are charmed by weapons of destruction, the explosions, alien invasion, monster fights and that are presented."Godzilla 2014" and "Pacific Rim" are the two movie films that was chosen by me for this assignment which both of them related to same genres which is action and adventurous films that distributed by Warner Bros . I had conducted research on those films and reviewed both movies once again to get more understanding about it.

Reflection

Through this assignment, I should more improving more on my grammar mistake and referencing skills. . I had learnt how to write a well-developed and well-organized 5-paragraph critical or argumentative essay as well as longer research essays with correct format and referencing techniques.
